Based on a desire to observe generational change, Octogenarians is a documentary that captures my conversations with women in their 80s. Our differences in age almost went unnoticed as we connected over topics similar to the ones discussed between my girlfriends and I around a dinner table; boys, drinking, dancing, and clothes. While the music, style, and dance may differ from generation to generation, the desire to socialize will always remain.
